Tagging & Pricing Items

Tagging your merchandise is extremely important!!  Without a tag showing the Price, Barcode, Item Description and Your Consignor Number, we cannot identify whom to pay.  Make sure your printer has plenty of ink and that it doesn't smudge the barcode.  Print only on 65 pound white cardstock paper.
Simply use our online tool
Item Entry and Tag Printing to generate your tags.  The tool guides you throught the tagging process, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us - we're more than happy to help!

PLEASE READ THROUGH INSTRUCTIONS!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!
New for 2011 -  Mininum Price $2.00

  • If you are changing a price on an item you must print a new tag.  If an item is being relisted from a previous sale please make sure it is priced at least $2.00.  Anything priced less than $2.00 will be removed from the sales floor.
  • Dawn dishwashing detergent works great at getting greasy stains out and for cleaning toys and equipment. For scuffs and marks, Magic Erasers work great. Use an old toothbrush to clean out nooks and crannies.
  • Placing a piece of packing tape over your tagging barb or safety pin will help ensure the tag doesn’t get torn off or lost.
  • USE ONLY WIRE HANGERS. No plastic will be accepted.
  • Consignors must have a minimum of 30 items. Some exceptions apply.
  • ALL ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN, WITH MINIMUM WEAR AND IN WORKING ORDER.  INSPECT ALL ITEMS for stains, rips, missing parts, damage; we will be!  We cannot accept such items.
  • Items that do not meet these standards will be refused or removed from the floor.
  • We accept newborn thru size 16 (no juniors).
  • Maternity- max of 10 items.  Must be actual maternity clothing, not ladies plus sizes.
  • Accessories such as belts, hair items, hats, gloves, etc. should be placed in a zip top bag.
  • Sports related items accepted at both seasonal sales.  Must meet the same standards as that of clothing.
  • Baby Feeding items are limited to NEW and UNOPENED in original packaging.

      Clothing

      • All clothing items must be clean, in near-new condition without stains, rips, pilling, missing buttons or snaps.  Press with an iron if necessary.
      • In current style and season.
      • Attach your printed tag with a tagging gun or a safety pin on the neck tag or in the garments left armpit seam.  PLEASE DO NOT ATTACH ON THE FRONT OF THE GARMENT.  This has caused large holes and ruined many items; we will then have to pull/reject that item and not sell it as intended.
      • Straight pins or staples are not acceptable.
      • Pants should be pinned to the top angled part of the hanger - through the waistband seam or belt loop.  Do not fold them over the hanger. Attach the tag to the garments left side.
      • We suggest you secure your clothing to the hanger with a tagging gun or safety pins.  This prevents it from falling to the floor.
      • All clothing items should be on wire hangers and hung with the hook facing LEFT.
      • 2 piece outfits: first attach the pants or skirt to the hanger then place the top over the bottoms, making sure both pieces are visible.  Pin both pieces to ensure the outfit stays together.  Please do not group items as an outfit if they are different sizes.
      • No clothing in plastic bags.  Socks and small accessories are the exception.
      • Clothing must be sorted by size and gender before you bring them to the sale.  Using rubber bands to group sizes together is helpful.
      • Only "in-season" (Fall or Spring) clothing is accepted.

      Shoes

      • Shoes must be super clean, with minimum wear inside and out.
      • Must be appropriate to the season.
      • No shoe boxes accepted.
      • Insert a zip tie through the lace holes.  Pin and/or tape Tag securely to the shoes.  Shoes can have problems separating from their mate and their tags so please do your best to attach them to one another.  Placing a piece of packing tape over the pin ensures the tag stays attached.

      Books

      • Tape your tag to the back cover of your book using scotch tape.  Packaging tape will damage books. Please do not put tape on the barcode of your tag.
      • Books sold as groups should be in zip top bags with the tag taped to the outside.

      Toys

      • Be sure to insert working batteries in items.
      • If you have small toys with lots of loose pieces (ex. blocks, small cars, soldiers) put them all in a zip top bag. You can find big bags for larger pieces at the dollar store or Ziploc brand makes them.
      • If your item comes with a bag of small pieces make a note on your tag that the item comes with a bag of accessories.
      • Puzzles can be covered and secured with plastic wrap and taped closed on the back side keeping all the pieces in place on the base.
      • Secure the top of the bag with packing tape, unless it will need to be tested.  (We test ALL battery operated items).  We will secure with tape after we test the item.
      • Tape your tag on the outside of the bag with clear packing tape- covering both ecges, being careful not to tape over the barcode.
      • Shoppers are rough!  Do your best to tape your tag and attach small pieces securely.  We will not be held responsible for lost or damaged pieces.

      Baby & Kid Equipment

      • Large toys, furniture and baby items are always best sellers at our sales. The ones in the best condition will be sold first!
      • Instruction manuals are always helpful.  You can download from the internet and print one if needed.
      • Ensure every nook and cranny is clean.  Baby goop gets everywhere!
      • If products have multiple pieces that might get separated, make sure that the tag is attached to the main piece then attach hand written tags to each additional piece with your consignor number, item description and mark them with:  "1 of 6", "2 of 6", etc.

Car seats and any cribs manufactured before June 28th, 2011 will NOT be accepted.

We will be inspecting EVERY SINGLE ITEM upon drop-off.  This upholds the integrity of our sale as a Premier Shopping Experience.
