Frequently Asked Questions

Following is a list of questions and answers that will help you to better understand your sale.

How do I become a seller(consignor)?
Register to become a consignor  here.

Do I have to pay for admission to the sale or parking?
No, there is no charge to shop our sale or for parking.

Can only consignors be Volunteers?
NO! - Anyone can Volunteer! - Consignor, Shopper, Grandmother, Dads.  We Love Volunteers!

How should I price my items?

We suggest you set the price at 30% to 50% of the retail value. Baby Equipment, Furniture and Large Indoor/Outdoor Toys usually sell for more and are in high demand. We will have an abundance of 0-24 month sized clothing, so they must be priced competitively in order to sell.  Minimum price for any item is $2.00.

What are the clothes hanging guidelines?

Clothes must be hung on wire hangers with the hook opening to the left.  All buttons should be buttoned, snaps should be snapped, zippers zipped.  Pants should be hung with the zipper facing out. Wrinkled clothes do not sell! They will most likely be rejected if they are extremely wrinkled. Please do what is necessary to make your clothes look clean and nice. Remember, the better they look the more likely they are to sell!

Will I get my hangers back
Hangers from your sold items will not be returned to you, but you will get to keep the hangers on the items you purchase and on your unsold items.

What types of play equipment do you take?

All types of play equipment are accepted, and in fact are in high demand.  All items must be clean, in working order with no missing or broken parts and must not be on a recall list. To assist you with this we will make toy company contact information available to consignors.

Can I bring my husband or mother with me to the Pre-Sale?

Though the pre-sale is exclusively for consignors and volunteers, you may purchase a friendly shopping pass for only $5.00. Our volunteers work hard to receive the perks, but we recognize that it is more fun to shop with a friend/partner. This year pre-sale wristbands will not give admittance for a guest. 1 Pass per Consignor. Please email us at avkidsconsignment@yahoo.com to purchase your guest pass.

Can I bring children to the Pre-Sale?

Yes, children are allowed at the Pre-Sale, but they must remain with you at all times.  However, keep in mind this a very busy venue and you will find more shopping enjoyment without a little one to keep an eye on. We suggest you bring a tape measure and your child's measurements instead of the child!

How can I pay for items I buy at Treasured Twice?
We accept Cash, Debit, Visa and MasterCard.

How will I be paid for my sold items?
Your earnings check will be mailed within two weeks after the close of the sale!

Are there other businesses involved?
Yes. We host Vendor Tables and we will have a table for local child related businesses to advertise with flyers upon pre-approval.  Please find complete information on the Vendor Info tab.
